Received A Gift

I had no idea that I had changed a life in that way...

Back in June, my good friend, Tony, came to attend my 24th birthday party. We have been friends for a fairly long time, but we hadn't seen each other in about a year. He gave me a small package as a present, and I placed it with other birthday gifts as I led him to get some food. Later on that night, it came time to open presents, and I ended up opening his. It was the best present I can remember anyone ever giving me... I had no idea that I had changed a life in that way. I don't remember ever feeling so appreciated through a gift. Especially after such a long time of not really keeping in touch, it really warmed my heart to know that I still had a great friend in him and that he considered me as someone who has touched his life in some way.

Tony, thank you for thinking of me and giving me this gift. It really meant a lot to me. I hope you know that I'll always be here for you, and I deeply appreciate your friendship. I love you! =)

I love the heart and the idea of gratitude, so I am giving myself one as a constant reminder of the love and support I always have from God through family and friends.

One Can Touch The Sacredness of the Human Spirit

I have received many amazing, elaborate and generous gifts in my life. With that said, when I was handed a small envelope with a card. I opened the beautiful packaging and began reading the scroll. As I continued reading, I was moved to tears that I was being acknowledged for Changing a life. As a result of my personal journey, I really have vowed to support others on their path to Freedom and the Discovery of Love inside themselves. Receiving the preciousness of this Butterfly Nautilus stone, this Touchstone of Gratitude, allowed me to "know" how one can touch the Sacredness of the Human Spirit through Love, Compassion and generosity of Heart. It is a mutual exchange and I am profoundly grateful.
Thank you for your magnificent creative expression and the commitment to sharing
your unique Gift with us all.

We Proved Them All Wrong!

Dear Pattie:
We have not met officially but I want to thank you for giving Gary the Touchstone of Gratitude, the token of love, that he gave to me. I keep it in my purse, no matter what, and often smile when I see it just sitting at the bottom of my purse. It is quietly resting in there just like love does, always there but not necessarily in a loud way. Gary has been in my life since we were 18 years old and today we can proudly say, "We proved them all wrong!" The number of people who probably made bets that those two kids wouldn't last a year have long ago lost their wager. We, on the other hand, have won in triumphing in both good and bad times together. Gary is the love of my life and we seem to always find our way back to each other no matter what issue has rocked our boat. Over the years I have seen my husband as a man of integrity; honesty; loving; generous; and devoted to his family. He has been, and continues to be, the best life partner I could have ever had. So like the Nautilus, our love sits quietly inside of my heart and will remain there forever. Thank you for your wonderful creation and I wish you well on your journey.
In Light and Love,
Kim

Dear Kim:
What an incredible, inspiring, thought provoking message of the power of love. I do so appreciate your beautiful words. Today was spent with my web developers as I am doing my very best to get this site up and running. It makes me smile with appreciation to know that you are resting the token within your purse, as I am certain you continue to touch it throughout the day.
Blessings to You!
~~hugs!

Dear Pattie,
Yes I do touch it often everyday. Just seeing it keeps the loving energy I have for Gary on the conscious level and I smile.
Blessings to you and your project of love,
Kim

I wish I had let them know...

When the small package arrived in the mail I cautiously opened it to receive a gift I will always treasure. In a beautifully packaged box I discovered, for the first time, that I had changed the life of another person. A little girl that lived next door to me over 20 years ago grew up and sent me a pewter medallion with the words “. . . you changed my life.” I never knew that simply being a good neighbor -- offering an ear, a glass of iced sweet tea, and a cozy kitchen -- would mean so much to an eight year old girl. I think back upon the people that made a difference in my own life. Many of them have now passed on; I am now 68 years. I wish I had let them know how much they mattered to me. . .

The Gift of Music

To: Tom Morrison
Submitted By: Kenneth Akermann and Joshua Akermann

Tomorrow afternoon my son, Josh, will be opening up our garage to four of his high school friends for band practice. Josh is the drummer. I bought him his first set of drums when he was three years old. He has been playing ever since and today has a pretty good sized following. In fact, I expect he will go on to one day be a professional. I have to thank Tom Morrison, my next door neighbor back in Plano, Texas, for introducing me, and if truth be told, all of the kids on our block, to the joy of playing drums. Had it not been for Tom’s influence, I am certain that I would not have become a drummer, and certainly would have not introduced Josh to the drums. We are both grateful to Tom Morrison for sharing his gift. Tom, you definitely changed a few lives.
